The availability of warehouses in Poland as our competitive advantage

One of the main advantages of the company, which is engaged in the international transport of goods (cargo) from the EU to Ukraine, is the presence of a warehouse near the border. The presence of such a warehouse allows: the logistical company to do the following:

Deliver goods (cargo) using cross-docking. This is a carriage with the transhipment of cargo from one vehicle to another, without placing the goods in the warehouse. In 2019, few people may be surprised: however not all customers understand the real benefits this delivery system will provide them.

Firstly, this is the maximum efficiency in choosing the right means of transport. It is no secret that the largest fleets of vehicles in Europe are located in Poland. Accordingly, the number of Polish trucks is ten times greater than the number of their Ukrainian counterpart. However the Polish people are rather reluctant to carry goods to Ukraine because of downtime at the border, poor roads and low transportation prices, etc. The ideal solution is to take a Polish car, and deliver the goods to the border with Ukraine, where it is already loaded into a Ukrainian truck. A large number of Polish trucks allow you to load vehicles in record time after placing an order.

Secondly, this is a timely verification of documents. Many clients are faced with situations where the consignor cannot send a full set of documents for inspection before handing this to the driver. Even if they verified the documents, they can simply forget to give away the related information from said document. Finally, there are situations when, by mistake, they gave the wrong set of documents that they verified and confirmed. Work on the cross-docking system means that upon receipt of cargo, all documents that were given to the driver will be scanned and sent to the client before the truck crosses the border. Subsequently, this makes it possible to make timely corrections and avoid customs troubles.

Finally, check the condition of the cargo until the border crossing. When reloading at the warehouse, it is possible to timely detect damage or mismatch of the cargo, and respectively make a complaint to the consignor, or even return the goods back to him. If the cargo is cleared in Ukraine, it will be almost impossible.

Store cargo in the EU. Some of these situations occur when the сonsignee is limited in terms of loading: the consignor in Europe requires you to pick up the already ordered and paid freight as quickly as possible, because he doesn’t want to keep it in his warehouse. However at the same time, the сonsignee does not need this cargo ‘right here and now’, because, for example, the final buyer for the cargo has not been found yet. If you immediately import this product into Ukraine, you will have to freeze a significant amount of customs payments for a certain period of time. An alternative is to store the goods in a warehouse near the border and if such a need arises, deliver it to Ukraine in 1-2 days.

Groupage cargo transportation. If you have your own warehouse in the EU, you can transport small batches of goods from different consignors there. This is until a significant amount of goods are accumulated that can be delivered by one truck. This seriously reduces the cost of such delivery and protects customers from the risk of proximity in relation to other people’s cargo.

We are in a close business relationship with our partner warehouse FRESH-BOX.
